All of our available pets, who are updated daily, can be viewed on our website and on Petfinder.com. Underdog Rescue and Placement has weekly adoption events on the following rotation: on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 12:30 – 2:30 pm, at urbAnimal in Minneapolis; on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from 12:30-2:30 pm, at Pet Stuff in Minnetonka; and on and the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month 12:30-2:30 at It’s a Pet’s Life in Plymouth. (Check our Calendar of Events for updates)

All of our sponsored pets are medically evaluated by a veterinarian, and are cared for in foster homes until they are placed. Our animals are spayed or neutered (if they are three months or older) and most are micro-chipped before they are re-homed. All dogs are tested for heartworm. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia.
